I'm disappointed in my garden. Only have harvested lettuce, two jalapenos, and three cucumbers. It looks like there will be plenty of tomatoes, but the other plants are not taking off like I would want. :(

day twenty nine

A sick day gives Mama time for indoor gardening.

pumpkin - can't stop thinking about those fresh pumpkin pies for this fall.

the corn's sprouting!

this artichoke was only dormant - I thought it was a gonner.

the details of gardening fascinate me. look how red this cute little beet sprout is. just as red as the big mama will be one day.

hollyhock - not really edible, but tall & beautiful
